About

Diana Oană is a Romanian visual artist based in Bucharest. She completed her Bachelor's degree in Painting at the National University of Arts Bucharest (2023) with the thesis project Untitled, and her Master's degree (2024) with the project Maps.

Her work investigates drawing as a thing of the mind. Through a gradual simplification of form and an exacting use of graphite, she builds geographies that exist at the border between the real and the felt — territories of inner states captured in a moment of stillness.
